ABOUT
Dr. Karly Casamento

Paediatrician & Mother of Four
Dr Karly Casamento is a General Paediatrician with a special interest in adolescent health and childhood development. She brings a neuroaffirming and trauma-informed approach to her practice, combining the latest evidence with deep compassion and empathy. As a Mum of a neurodivergent family of four kids, Dr Karly understands first-hand the joys and difficulties of parenting in today’s world. Her lived experience helps her connect with families, support challenges and celebrate children's unique personalities. Dr Karly completed her paediatric training at Sydney Children’s Hospital and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of Physicians (FRACP). She is a member of the Australasian Society for Developmental Paediatrics (ASDP) and participates in the Neuroaffirming Special Interest Group. She is also an Adjunct Clinical Lecturer in the University of Notre Dame School of Medicine, Sydney. She holds an Bachelor of Medicine Bachelor of Surgery with Honours from the University of Notre Dame Sydney, a Diploma of Child Health from UNSW, and a Bachelor of Science Advanced (majors in neuroscience and physiology) from the University of Sydney.

Her goal is to support parents and children in understanding their unique brains and provide guidance for any areas of concern to help all children reach their potential.
